We are looking for an individual to investigate alleged breaches of planning control, including carrying out site visits, liaising with all parties as part of the evidence gathering process. You will analyse the facts of the case and undertake an assessment of the planning merits, with guidance where needed, in order to determine the most appropriate action.

Good interpersonal skills, empathy and sound judgement are essential in this role. You will need to be organised and self-motivated but also a good team player.  We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate an adaptable and flexible approach, a positive attitude and an ability to work on your own initiative.

You will also have experience in preparing formal action and planning reports, with guidance where needed, relating to the progress of enforcement cases.
