We have a great opportunity for a Customer Accounts (Income) Team Leader to make their mark

About the role

As Customer Accounts Team Leader you will ensure that the services delivered support the delivery of the Group's income management service and aim to maximise the amount of rent collected from our tenants whilst minimising their financial hardship.

You will be required to proactively respond to changes in welfare benefits and ensure that specialist officers are fully conversant in the full range of benefits available to our customers.

About You

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of advising upon and dealing with complex arrears cases as well as leading a team in an income, debt recovery or credit control environment

You will have an excellent knowledge of Housing Benefit and Welfare Reform issues and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range and level of people and organisations and to be able to deal with customers facing difficult situations.
