We are looking for a Treasury Assistant (1 post) to join our Finance Accounting Team in Merseyside on a 12 month fixed term basis to support some additional work within the Treasury function.

Reporting to the Treasury Accountant, you will provide support to the Treasury Accountants with regards to the maintenance of loan registers, cash books and associated reconciliations.

You will assist the Treasury Accountant to maintain group loan registers and loan repayment schedules, update cashbooks and prepare associated journals and bank reconciliations within prescribed deadlines.

You will liaise with finance teams where necessary to ensure all income and expenditure is reported in the month to which it relates and in accordance with accounting standards.

You will also provide support to finance teams and support finance team objectives.

To be successful you should have strong verbal and written skills, be IT literate and have the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload.

It is essential that you have a GCSE in Mathematics or an equivalent qualification.
