Senior Land Manager

Our client is an award winning social housing provider dedicated to delivering high quality housing and first class services to residents. They manage 24,000 homes across the Midlands, London, Home Counties and the South East.

To help them achieve their ambitious plans to deliver 750 new homes in London every year until 2022/23 they are looking for a Senior Land Manager to join their development team. You will manage a small team of staff to help to identify, appraise, negotiate and acquire land for affordable rents, shared ownership and private sale. You will take responsibility for securing planning, appointing and manage professional teams to assist in the purchase and delivery of new projects.

If you’re enthusiastic and motivated and you have a degree in Estate Management (or relevant discipline) or at least five years relevant experience with a proven track record of buying land and negotiating JCT contract for affordable land, please get in touch. You’ll need a good understanding of local authorities, a thorough understanding of S106 agreements and review mechanisms, be confident managing budgets and have a solid grasp of residual land valuation, financial appraisals and land viability assessments.
