The Operational Director – Finance and Business Assurance is a new and exciting role for a finance professional with a real passion for creating a culture of excellence and helping people thrive in an exciting and growing business. The role will provide inspirational leadership and maximise the performance of the Finance and Business Assurance function, supporting the Group’s overall objectives and ensuring that they act upon all necessary forms of business assurance.

You will provide expert advice and support to the Executive Team and Boards. Leading and developing a high performing team and setting the pace of change, you will also provide peer leadership and challenge across the business to help drive performance. The first class internal service developed will be valued by colleagues and external parties alike, with financial strategic risks proactively identified and mitigation plans developed.

The Group is seeking a financial leader who can quickly build relationships with senior stakeholders, work at pace and provide pragmatic business solutions.  As Group growth continues you will ensure the Finance and Business Assurance team provides proactive support, building their capacity by developing the team’s knowledge and capability. Reporting to the Strategic Director for Corporate Services, and as a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will bring energy, a passion for cultivating a performance coaching culture and a strong alignment to our vision and values. With experience of managing both Finance and Business Assurance functions, you will be ‘hands on’ as well as creating and driving the strategic direction of the function.
