We own and manage a large portfolio of nearly 38,000 homes, providing services to more than 71,000 customers across London, the East Midlands and the East of England.
We are currently looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Assistant who will be the front line representative of Metropolitan, working within the Development Directorate. You will be based at The Grange in Southgate and the role will encompass work on all sales schemes shared ownership and private sale, in multiple locations across a broad geographic area capturing customer details facilitating sales viewings, customer enquiries and assisting in ensuring Sales and Marketing performance targets are met.

Main accountabilities
The Sales and Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the delivery of the sales and marketing team targets.
Responsible for ensuring that all sales enquiries, source of enquiry, viewings reservations, cancellations, exchange of contracts and completions are recorded and reported on weekly and monthly to monitor effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
Responsible for collating and producing a live customer profiling report for each sales scheme.
Responsible for proactively contacting new and existing customers through a variety of means to encourage them to proceed to reservation. To attend sales launches, viewings and other external events as directed to promote the products and services offered by Metropolitan.
To provide administrative support as directed.

Key experience and qualifications required
Demonstrable experience in a sales and marketing environment
Demonstrable ability to engage with customers on the phone and promote our developments through knowledge of our schemes.
Ability to work under their own initiative and occasionally at weekends as standard
An understanding of the buying and legal process of shared ownership and private property sales
Demonstrable customer service skills though personality and likability and able to connect with customers to meet there wants and needs.
Confident and experienced with IT
