Metropolitan is one of the UK`s leading providers of affordable housing and care and support services. We employ over 1,600 people to manage and develop our large portfolio of nearly 38,000 homes serving nearly 75,000 customers across London, the East Midlands and the East of England.
We are currently undertaking a large project to review our service charges and the systems that support the calculation and charge. As a consequence we need to expand the team.
We are looking to recruit Entry Level Service Charge Officers to take responsibility for providing a comprehensive leasehold service charge service to customers and colleagues, by setting, reconciling and leading on auditing Metropolitans service charge accounts. You will be required to provide support and assistance to customers and other departments in order to deliver an effective leasehold and service charge service from preparing notices through to billing.
You will already have an interest in the housing sector as well as being customer focused and results driven. A natural multi-tasker, you will operate in an organised and structured manner; be numerate and detail driven and capable of producing outstanding quality work at all times.
You will have a strong sense of stakeholder awareness and be able to build quality relationships and rapport with our residents and internal customers. You will possess enhanced verbal and written communication skills as well as strong Word, Excel, and database skills including knowledge of Outlook.
