Sharepoint Lead Developer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Sharepoint Lead Developer to join the Resources Directorate at Liverpool Mutual Homes.
Reporting to the Applications Support Manager, in the role of Sharepoint Lead Developer the candidate will be part of the ICT team within the Resources Directorate and will be working under their own initiative within managed projects to design, developing sites based on customer specifications, establishing operational sites and providing ongoing upgrades, support and modifications. The Sharepoint Lead developer will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, business acumen, previous experience in operating independently on tight timelines, and be able to manage a complex dynamic workload.
They will practically make use of their experience, skills and knowledge to improve not only their own development skills but also promote new and effective ways of working making best use of today’s technologies.
The ideal candidate will show:
Experience in the development of a SharePoint environment, including design, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of the portals.
Experience in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives (Upgraded Versions, Third-Party Solutions, integration with additional Enterprise Systems).
Understand key client objectives; diagnose and map client requirements; articulate solution risks and barriers; recommend delivery approaches.
Ability to develop and design prototypes and mock-ups based on customer requirements
Troubleshoot technical problems and conducts analyses for efficient program/ application solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements.
You must be able to create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate regular tasks, simplify complex tasks and fix problems.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be customer focused and a real team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.
