Director of Development and Regeneration

Salary:  £90,000 + 10% Car Allowance and access to a defined benefit pension scheme

With 10 years’ experience in property related activity ranging from regeneration and modernisation to new build schemes, we have built more than 300 new homes throughout South Wales since 2013.

Now with a new CEO, fresh expertise at board level, a renewed focus on regeneration and a recent refinancing exercise, it is a fantastic time to join us and deliver the next generation of homes to our customers in the Rhondda, Cynon and Taff Valleys.

As the new Director, you will play a key role in shaping our growth plans, nurturing the existing development team and fostering relationships with our many partners and stakeholders.  Your creative thinking will help overcome any development challenges so that nothing stands in the way of your desire to change people’s lives and communities for the better.

You will be a crucial part of our Executive team, providing clear direction and effective leadership to ensure the business delivers strong performance and achieves its vision.. You will fully appreciate the importance of the customer in the overall construction journey and keep a focus on how any new development can enhance and improve the wider community too.  You will also be adept at demonstrating value for money.

We would expect you to bring extensive experience from within the house build or commercial build sector, with a successful track record of operating at a strategic level either as a Director or Senior Manager with the confidence to negotiate and influence effectively with all stakeholders. You will also be able to demonstrate strong financial and commercial acumen, understand land acquisition processes, have sound contract management capabilities and fully grasp the procurement remit.

Well networked with regional knowledge, you will be able to utilise property contacts to generate future opportunities. An exhaustive understanding of the delivery of phased, high-volume residential developments, with units numbering well into the hundreds, is also a must.

If this sounds like you and you feel that you could be a great fit for this role then we would be keen to hear from you.
