Lead Project Worker, Bury St Edmunds

Full Time, 39 hours a week - £21,500 per annum

We are recruiting for a Lead Project Worker to join our supported living schemes located in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

This is an exciting time to join Genesis Housing as we are recruiting to several jobs in the Suffolk area. Located across 4 schemes in Bury St Edmunds, the Lead Project Worker will be responsible for delivering person-centred services. You will use your specialist knowledge to provide excellent support to customers with complex needs. You will manage a small team of front line night workers, supervising and supporting them to deliver a high quality service.

The schemes are accommodation based environments that support single homeless people who may have experienced drug, alcohol, substance misuse problems, and/or have varying support needs. The primary focus of our schemes is to support clients in a range of areas, including finding employment, recovery from addiction, and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs.

Previous experience of providing support for customers with similar needs is essential for this role. You will require expert knowledge and understanding the particular needs of the customer group.

Hours will be Monday - Friday, 3 days - 10am - 7pm and 2 days - 1pm - 10pm.
