L&OD Coordinator - 6 Month FTC

The L&OD Coordinator will use learning and organisational and administrative expertise to organise, co-ordinate and facilitate delivery of the Learning and Development offering to the business, so that the programme is successfully organised, delivered, evaluated and reported on.
The job holder will use their knowledge and relationships within the organisation to provide and support colleagues learning requirements and use of the Learning Zone. They will contribute to the delivery of training of the learning offer.
Work with Project Consultants and L&OD MI Manager to offer learning solutions for the business and improve the service provided.
Main accountabilities
-Work with L&OD Colleagues and use the reporting tool to plan the programme and regional workshop requirements to produce the annual Learning programme schedule. Monitor the schedule to maximise course attendance and value for money.
-Empower colleagues and managers to take responsibility for their own learning by using innovative advertising and communication, effectively identifying the target audiences and keeping the Learning systems updated.
-Deliver Metropolitan Induction Day (MID) in all regions. Liaise with colleagues across the business, the Executive Team and their Assistants to organise Speed Networkers and Executive speaker for each session.
-Update the Schedule regularly to ensure the reporting tool is updated regularly and use it to provide accurate and timely management information to meet specific organisational and individual requests.
-Respond to enquiries via ServiceNow HR Enquiry and the L&OD inbox within agreed timescales.
-Set up new Suppliers, administer contracts and raise Purchase Orders in accordance with procurement guidelines. Monitor and update the Expenditure Log to support effective budget management.
-Provide support to the L&OD team to facilitate delivery of specific programmes, such as, Core Management Skills Programme ILM, Leadership Development programme. Maintain registration of any Awarding bodies.
-Advise and support colleagues and managers on the process and procedure for requesting external learning. Support in researching and procuring providers.
-Visit and communicate regularly with all parts of the business to develop and maintain good working relationships with all our customers and to keep up to date with learning needs.

Key experience and qualifications required
-Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Word.
-Experience of working with a dispersed geographical located team
-Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service and service excellence
-Awareness of scheduling, procuring suppliers within a learning and development setting
-Experience of delivering or facilitating training
-Demonstrates a pro-active approach to problem solving

This is a fixed term opportunity of 6 months.
