  1. Ymgymryd â'r ystod llawn o waith cynnal a chadw tiroedd er mwyn cyflawni gofynion y cwsmer.
  2. Gwneud gwaith cynnal a chadw tir a gwaith garddio cyffredinol, gan gynnwys: - torri gwair a borderi, strimio, cribo, hofio a chwynnu, ysgubo llwybrau ac ati, codi a chasglu sbwriel. Cloddio a phlannu, tocio, torri gwrychoedd, casglu a chael gwared ar ddail, toriadau glaswellt a malurion eraill o’r ardd.
  3. Cyflawni cynnal a chadw eiddo sylfaenol gan gynnwys: - codi/trwsio ffensys, clirio a thrwsio cwteri ac unrhyw ddyletswyddau eraill yn ôl cyfarwyddyd y rheolwr llinell.

  1. Sicrhau bod cofnodion, gan gynnwys taflenni milltiroedd, taflenni amser a slipiau boddhad cwsmeriaid yn cael eu cwblhau yn brydlon ac yn gywir yn unol â chyfarwyddyd y rheolwr llinell.   Sicrhau bod fan, offer a pheiriannau’r tîm yn cael eu diogelu, eu glanhau, eu gwasanaethu a'u cynnal a'u cadw yn ôl yr angen gan gydymffurfio â deddfwriaeth traffig ffyrdd a iechyd a diogelwch perthnasol a bod yr holl gofnodion priodol yn cael eu cadw. Ynghyd â staff eraill Cribiniau ac Ystolion sicrhau bod yr adeilad Cribiniau ac Ystolion yn cael ei gynnal a’i gadw mewn cyflwr glân a thaclus. Hysbysu’r  Rheolwr Llinell am unrhyw offer neu beiriannau nad ydynt yn gweithio neu sy’n cael eu colli. Hysbysu’r Rheolwr Llinell pan fydd  stociau yn isel. Sicrhau bod rhestrau o offer a deunyddiau yn cael eu gwirio a'u diweddaru. Ymgymryd â hyfforddiant angenrheidiol ar gyfer datblygiad personol a phroffesiynol fel nodir gan eich Rheolwr Llinell. Cadw’n gyfredol â newidiadau deddfwriaethol ac arfer gorau. Hyrwyddo gwasanaethau Cribiniau ac Ystolion i gefnogi’r amcanion tyfu busnes.

Dyletswyddau Eraill

  1. Gweithio mewn modd cydweithredol mewn grwpiau gwaith ar draws swyddogaethau yn ôl yr angen. Sicrhau eich bod wedi deall ac ymgymryd ag asesiadau risg perthnasol a chydymffurfio â'r holl ofynion Iechyd a Diogelwch perthnasol. Cynghori, arwain a chefnogi aelodau'r tîm a’u galluogi i gyflawni eu cymwysterau. Darparu gwasanaeth llanw ar gyfer Arweinwyr Tîm eraill os oes angen. Fel cynrychiolydd TGC, hyrwyddo a chynnal agwedd a delwedd gadarnhaol ar bob adeg:
  2. Hyrwyddo gwerthoedd TGC yn gadarnhaol; gan herio ffyrdd traddodiadol o weithio, ymddygiad neu sylwadau croes mewn modd adeiladol,.
  3. Sicrhau bod adborth yn cael ei geisio er mwyn llywio gwella gwasanaethau ar gyfer cwsmeriaid a datblygu ffyrdd mwy effeithlon ac effeithiol o weithio.
  4. Sicrhau cydymffurfiad â Rheolau Sefydlog, polisïau a gweithdrefnau TGC, safonau cywirdeb mewn perthynas â statws elusennol y sefydliad a Rheoleiddio Llywodraeth Cymru.
  5. Cefnogi'r gwaith o ddatblygu, adolygu a gweithredu polisïau a gweithdrefnau, yn arbennig: cynlluniau iechyd, diogelwch a lles, egwyddorion y Gymdeithas ar Gydraddoldeb ac Amrywiaeth, Mentrau Rheoli Risg ac Arferion Rheoli Perfformiad
  6. Defnyddio technoleg a systemau TGCh yn effeithiol drwy ddatblygu sgiliau priodol, mabwysiadu prosesau busnes effeithlon, a chynnal data yn ddiogel ac yn gywir.
  7. Gweithio ar y cyd mewn gweithgorau traws swyddogaethol yn ôl yr angen.
  8. Mae'r gwaith yn gofyn am godi a chario a gweithredu offer llaw a phŵer. Mae defnydd cyfyngedig o systemau TGCh (dyfeisiau llaw) a thechnoleg yn un o ofynion y swydd.

JOB PURPOSE

 

To deliver the grounds and property maintenance service, ensuring safe working and providing support and guidance to Apprentices and Trainees in order to ensure that contract objectives and targets are achieved within the appropriate timescales.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Statement of the main areas of responsibility( under supervision)

                 

Grounds and Property Maintenance

  1. Undertake the full range of grounds maintenance duties to fulfil the requirements of the customer.
  2. Carry out general grounds maintenance and gardening works, including: - grass cutting and edging, strimming, raking, hoeing and weeding, sweeping of paths etc, litter picking and collection of refuse. Digging over and planting, pruning, hedge cutting, collection and disposal of leaves, grass cuttings and other garden debris.
  3. Carry out basic property maintenance including: - erecting/repairing fencing, clearing and repairing gutters and any other duties as directed by line manager.

Organising and Record Keeping

  1. Ensure that records, including mileage sheets, timesheets and customer satisfaction slips are completed promptly and accurately as directed by line manager. Ensure that the team’s van, equipment and machinery are secured, cleaned, and maintained as required complying with relevant road traffic and health and safety legislation and that all appropriate records are kept. Together with other Rakes and Ladders staff ensures that the Rakes and Ladders premises are secure and maintained in a clean and tidy condition. Notify line Manager of any malfunction or loss of equipment or machinery. Notify the line Manager when stocks are low. Ensure that inventories of equipment and materials are checked and updated. Undertake necessary training required for personal and professional development as identified by your line Manager. Keep up to date with legislative changes and current best practice. Promote Rakes and Ladders services to support the business growth objectives.

Other Duties

  1. Ensure that you have undertaken and understood relevant risk assessments and comply with all relevant Health and Safety requirements. Advise guide and support team members and enable them to achieve their qualifications. Provide cover for other Team members if required. As a representative of NWH, to, promote and maintain a positive attitude and image at all times  :
  2. To positively promote NWH values; constructively challenging traditional ways of working, contrary behaviour or comments.
  3. To ensure feedback is actively sought in order to inform service improvement for customers and develop more efficient and effective ways of working.
  4. To ensure compliance with NWH Standing Orders, policies and procedures, standards of probity relating to the organisation’s charitable status and Welsh Assembly Government Regulation.
  5. To support the development, review and implementation of policies and procedures, in particular of: Health, safety and welfare initiatives, the Associations principles on Equality and Diversity, Risk Management Initiatives and Performance Management Practices
  6. To utilise ICT technology and systems effectively by developing appropriate skills, adopting efficient business processes, and maintaining data securely and accurately.
  7. To work collaboratively in cross functional working groups where required.
  8. Work requires lifting and carrying and operation of hand and power tools. The limited use of ICT systems (hand held devices) and technology is a requirement of the post.
  9. The role is site based and there is a daily requirement to travel locally

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Tools needed to do the job

Essential

Qualifications – educational and vocational or professional

  1. A good standard of education( including Maths and English)
  2. NVQ level 2 or above in horticultural or trade qualifications or similar equivalent experience.

 

 

Work Experience

  1. Should possess fundamental practical horticultural skills and experience in plant related discipline Competent in the use of Plant and machinery associated with this type of work (eg. Brush cutter Strimmer/ Petrol lawn mower- push and ride on, hedge trimmer) Knowledge of Environmental and Waste laws relating to these activities Understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements including Coshh, Hand arm vibration.

Specific

  1. A full driving licence Comfortable with every day conversations/discussions specifically in relation to your job.  Be confident to converse in Welsh when required.  (The requirement is set at Level 3 on self-assessment form).  

 

 

Desirable
