Cottsway is a social business providing affordable homes in West Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire. We own 4,600 homes; have a turnover of around 32 million, and an asset base worth 330 million. Our purpose is “to serve those in need of housing for whom the market is not producing a solution, within a manageable, cost effective area”.
We are now seeking to appoint a new Operations Manager to take our in-house property maintenance team to the next level of operation. We have a clear focus on driving productivity and creating efficiencies, whilst providing a quality service.
The successful candidate will have significant operational management experience in running a Repairs and Maintenance service, either for a contracting company or a commercially focused DLO, and up to date knowledge of the legal, regulatory and operational framework related to repairs services, particularly with a practical and detailed understanding of health and safety management.
You will use your credibility gained from a proven track record in delivering a social housing repairs service to take a “hands on” approach to leading and developing the team, and delivering the business’s objectives for improved efficiency and customer satisfaction.
