Fixed Term Contract for 2 years

Right now, we’re looking for an Electrical Compliance Officer to ensure that our tenants receive a first class service.

The role

Join the team and you’ll:

• Act as the named responsible client side officer for the company in relation to electrical fixed wiring testing and inspecting to domestic and non-domestic properties.
• Manage and co-ordinate annual electrical testing programmes, whilst ensuring the property asset register / compliance database is maintained.
• Liaise as appropriate with our partners, contractors and other external bodies on electrical testing related matters.
 
About You

You will have a background of working in a similar role of electrical installation, repairs and testing within a domestic and non-domestic situation in a similar sized organisation as well as a sound understanding of the BS 7671: IEE Wiring regulations preferably within the Social Housing Sector.

You must have a HNC/NVQ level 4 or equivalent professional qualification as well as Industry recognised electrical installation and testing qualifications. Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety requirements associated with the industry with a IOSH/NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
