About the role

We are looking for skilled operatives whose main trades will be groundworks, plumbing or carpentry. You will also be expected to be competent in the other trades.

You will provide a key role in the delivery of the ‘first time right’ repairs service and we will look to you to carry out scheduled work and make the necessary repairs to a high standard of workmanship.

Working directly with customers, you will be able to provide effective solutions to scheduled and emergency work to housing stock.

About you

You will need an NVQ or equivalent recognised qualification of your specialism, along with sound knowledge of health and safety requirements.

Previous experience in groundwork, plumbing, carpentry and glazing is essential to this role.

Flexibility is key as you will be required to work out of hours, on a rota basis, which currently stands as one week in every four. You will be paid a standby allowance and a call out premium.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
