Rent & Service Charge Officers
Full-Time Permanent
Salary circa £33,000 (dependant on experience) plus excellent benefits
Bedford

If you are ready for a new role that will be equally challenging and rewarding, then come and join us at bpha.  We are a fast moving, ambitious housing organisation with over 18,000 (and growing) properties across the Oxford to Cambridge corridor and are uniquely positioned to grow and contribute to real change within the housing sector.

We are creating a new Rent and Service Charge Team.  The critical work this team will undertake to positively impact our customers and services includes all elements of rent and service charges and we are looking for two Rent & Service Charge Officers.

As the organisational experts in rents and service charges you will be supporting the rest of the business and improving services to customers by collecting income and providing solutions to complex customer enquiries.

You should have the ability to understand leases and provide technical advice to leaseholders and the organisation.  You will be a team player and ideally have previous people management experience, as each officer will line manage an assistant.

You will have excellent numeracy skills and an ability to understand, analyse and manipulate information and data.  You will already have experience of working either in a service charge setting and reconciliation or in rent setting and review or both.

You will be educated to degree level and be part accounting qualified or have appropriate professional experience in rent and/or service charge

In return we can offer a competitive salary, 28 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays) increasing with service, contributory pension, medical cover, reduced gym membership, lifestyle rewards, canteen and a modern working environment.

The closing date for this role is 3 June 2018.

Interviews will be held week commencing 11 June 2018.
