Are you seeking a new opportunity working closely with customers to provide a cleaning service and be an additional contact to customers to help them maintain dignified living?
In this role you will be required to ensure that the daily cleaning duties are carried out in a sensitive way within the communal areas of the scheme and customers` homes as required. Also to provide residents assisted services such as but not limited to, accompanied shopping visits, appointment support, domestic living support. Working 30 hours a week. Paying £7.83 / hour
Main accountabilities will be, but not limited to: -
-Carrying out all cleaning duties (Clean communal areas- dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampoo carpets and disinfect hard surfaces) to a high standard that meets the expectations of the residents and management but also related to Health and Safety Rules (COSHH).
-Provide a friendly, respectful, professional and supportive service to residents when working within their own home and supporting them out in the community.
-Clean internal windows and frames by removing curtains and voile for cleaning and replace them.
-Respond promptly to unexpected cleaning duties i.e. spillages.
-Take specific responsibility for a daily work schedule including routine recordkeeping.
-Providing agreed domestic & support services within residents home and out in the community as agreed in the customer contract.
-To keep administrative records e.g. stock control, supplier records.
-Ensure that all aspects of the current Food Hygiene regulations are adhered to and maintained at all times.
In this role experience is not essential, but you should be able to demonstrate: -
1)Ability to work alone, be self-motivated and to work as part of a team
2)Have an understanding of how to achieve good levels of hygiene and cleanliness
3)The ability to be flexible in the way duties are performed and be solution focused.
4)Demonstrate a high level of customer care
