Coast & Country are a leading housing and regeneration company, based in the Tees Valley. We provide over 10,000 homes across a variety of different tenures, from rental stock to shared ownership and outright market sale units. Coast & Country’s vision is ‘working together to make a difference’: with our customers, employees, volunteers and other stakeholders.

We offer excellent terms and conditions including a 10% employer contributory pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement and flexible working, death in service insurance cover, local discounts and the chance to work and develop within a dynamic, friendly environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Void & Void Investment Team for a qualified and experienced joiner to join the team. The role will involve carrying out Void Investment work and Reactive Maintenance to include all aspects of Joinery ranging from general small repairs through to door, window and kitchen installation.

You will be working within our Void teams focussing on delivering a right first time approach and complying with the Companies Customer and Quality Standards.

To be successful in the role you will need to possess in depth knowledge of repairs/maintenance of buildings in relation to joinery works, a relevant NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent together with experience within the construction industry or similar. You will have a good understanding of Health and Safety practices together with a customer focused approach.

This is an extremely varied role requiring a self-starter who has the ability to work alone or in a team.  The individual must be flexible with a willingness to learn and a capacity to grow within a developing and progressive organisation. A full driving licence or the ability to use transport for work purposes is essential.  If you have a disability we will explore reasonable adjustments with you.

If you would like an informal chat about the post, please call Steve Hayes on 01642 836057.

We reserve the right to close vacancies before the advertised closing date, for example, where we have received a high volume of applications.
