The future’s exciting at Rykneld Homes Ltd, with fast-paced and ambitious growth plans... we need people to deliver.

Rykneld Homes is located in the heart of Derbyshire, bordering the Peak District National Park, close to the Town of Chesterfield. We are an established social housing organisation with a passion for making people and our communities our first priority. Managing the social housing on behalf of North East Derbyshire District Council, and as a registered provider of social housing, we also have a growing number of our own stock for rent, sale and shared ownership.

Following a number of internal promotions, we are looking for dedicated Housing and Support Officers, with a flare and passion for a people-centred approach to tenancy and estate management to join our high-performing team. You will provide assistance in all housing management tasks, contributing to effective estate management whilst working closely with other teams to ensure an integrated approach. You will think beyond established practices in order to create innovative solutions for customers to build personal capacity and encourage independence; keeping accurate records of case management and producing clear performance information to demonstrate practical outcomes for clients and a customer-focused service in response to a wide range of housing related support needs.

In this position, you will be responsible for comprehensive assessment of customers' needs in respect of any risk of tenancy failure, visiting tenants at home to explore options and solutions, agreeing a support plan, and delivering support directly or in partnership with other teams or agencies. You will also, where necessary, undertake enforcement action against tenancies in line with policies and relevant legislation.

If you have relevant experience within the housing sector and understand the fundamentals of tenancy management, we would like to hear from you!

Our neighbourhoods’ team culture is simple, fun and rewarding. Being ‘Brilliant’ is all we want to be in everything we do.

We offer a competitive staff benefits package, including a final salary pension scheme, childcare vouchers, excellent holiday entitlement, occupational health service and a salary sacrifice car leasing scheme to name a few. Alongside this we offer continuous training and development for all our staff and flexible working.
