Salary: £32,242 per annum

Full time, 36.25 hours per week, 6 months fixed term contract

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a People Development Consultant to join our People Development team located at the Orbit Coventry office and to make a real difference to our employee's career journey.

Your role will support the People Development Manager to lead the planning and implementation of a wide range of projects to deliver key talent and engagement initiatives across Orbit. This role will project manage initiatives covering coaching, engagement, leadership development and talent management (including systems implementation).

As a People Development Consultant you will work independently, delivering against deadlines whilst using initiative to solve problems and find solutions. You will build effective external relationships with stakeholders to ensure budgets, tasks and customer satisfaction targets are met.

About you

We are seeking a pragmatic and ambitious individual who can come into the People Development team and 'hit the ground running'. The ideal candidate will have previous professional experience working on a wide range of projects, with the ability to self-manage multiple priorities. You will have a proven track record of introducing and delivering organisational development and engagement initiatives.

We are looking for an individual who can successfully build strong internal and external relationships. This is an exciting time to join Orbit and this opportunity is ideal for someone who is looking to progress and develop in their career.

This role will be offered as a 6 month fixed term contract with a possibility of extension and permanent opportunities.
