HR Business Partner


Up to £53,000 + benefits

Reading/Staines/Ealing (flexible) this role requires travel to multiple sites and locations in South East England and so a car and UK driving license is essential. Business miles from normal place of work are reimbursed at £0.42 per mile

Our HRBPs are an integral part of A2Dominion's transformation, acting as a 'critical friend' to designated client groups, offering advice, influencing and coaching. They enable business leaders to drive performance and strengthen their business area, adding value through commercial insight, innovative solutions and challenge when formulating comprehensive people plans to support business goals. The client group for this role is the Care & Support Department, led by the Director of Supported Housing and consisting of 200 staff based at locations across the South East, delivering homes and services to vulnerable clients.

As HR Business Partner you will play a key role in supporting the business area to create a strong performance culture where our staff can thrive and the business can grow. You will support your clients in navigating change as well as partnering on performance management, talent development, and complex employee relations (ER) issues, TUPE and resourcing.

The role will focus on:

  • Developing strong relationships with business leaders, client groups and HR Centres of Excellence, ensuring consistency of HR practice across the organisation
  • Advising on employee relations, TUPE, legal updates, internal communications strategies and policies using commercial insight and MI to inform decisions
  • Formulating and implementing people strategies that are fully integrated with business strategies
  • Leading the execution of all major HR initiatives with client group, both on an annual and ad hoc basis
  • Continually review and contribute towards the development of HR policies and processes
  • Working with business leaders promoting learning and development and performance management

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience of delivering commercially focused solutions, have the ability to establish strong working relationships and be able to demonstrate the positive value of HR. CIPD qualified, you will be proactive, focused and enthusiastic, so that you are able to engage and motivate managers and colleagues.

This role would suit a HR professional who could hit the ground running. Has worked in a commercial, or healthcare or support services setting and is able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders. You will be keen to develop your HR career in a property company with a social purpose.
