Fire Electrician

Covering the London and South East Regions

Salary up to £35,475 per annum (rising up to £37,342 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm   

Flexible approach with some weekends, evenings, standby and call out duties


About the role

We are looking for Fire Electricians to join our newly established Fire Servicing and Repair team. In this exciting new role, you will form part of a dedicated team of engineers, responsible for carrying out routine maintenance on life safety and security systems, for example Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Curtains, Access Control and Nurse/Warden call, to the Group’s property portfolio. You will also be required to carry out remedial works following service, and upgrade works to installed systems. In addition, you will be maintaining, repairing and replacing working systems up to 240v. A comprehensive training programme will be provided, including a three week induction, whereby you will gain formal trade qualifications.

About you

Your positive attitude and previous experience within the fire/security or electrical industry is of great interest to us as are your excellent customer and communication skills. You will be fully qualified to 17th Edition regulations, holding a City & Guilds qualification 2391/2 or equivalent. Previous FIA (Fire Industry Association) accredited training would be beneficial however; this will be included in your training programme. Due to the scope of the role you will need to hold a full current driving licence and have a flexible approach as there will be some weekend and evening work required
