Launching in November, AHG will be the largest provider of specialist housing and care for older people in England. This executive director role is crucial to the successful establishment of AHG’s infrastructure, with lead responsibility for HR/OD, ICT and communications & marketing.

You will be joining a focused, friendly and supportive executive team, working to the CE, in developing a robust infrastructure for the business, that covers those all-important foundations of our people, systems and processes. Our ED Business Services will be taking the lead with your staff to ensure that AHG has a joined-up approach across all these key business functions. Executive colleagues, the Board and many stakeholders will look to you to speak with authority on the development of our infrastructure, at the same time as ensuring their input.

Your sector background is of less importance than your skills and experience. You will need to give assurance on scale and complexity for this role – AHG will have 60,000 customers, cared for by 10,000 staff, operating across 1,700 sites. You will need to demonstrate tangible success in the design of high-quality business critical services, with a track record that shows delivery that is flexible to respond to the needs of front-line colleagues, to drive benefits for customers.  Experience of operating in a regulated environment will be welcome.
