Our Procurement Specialist is a key role delivering procurement projects, engaging with colleagues and stakeholders from all departments and disciplines.
We are looking for a professional who can manage the whole procurement process from specification design through to ongoing contract management, with a focus on value for money and realising benefits; someone who will implement project strategies based on evaluation of value and risk. They will gather intelligence and analyse data to ensure projects meet the needs of the business now and for the future in line with the corporate strategy.
To be successful you will need to have a professional level understanding of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 with the ability to display significant evidence of their application and interpretation.
It is essential that you are MCIPS qualified or actively working towards this.
You will need to demonstrate extensive experience of working at a procurement middle management/specialist role in a medium to large organisation, including comprehensive evidence of managing and delivering projects.
This is a permanent role working 37 hours a week reporting to the Head of Procurement.
