London and the South East bear the brunt of the nation’s housing crisis. One Housing is leading the way in finding solutions. We believe building is key and punch above our weight as a developer, using our private sale programme to fund new affordable homes for those in need. We’re already a landlord to around 16,000 households with a further 3,600 homes in our pipeline, with our property maintenance company keeping customer’ homes well maintained and safe.

We’re also a large-scale and widely recognised provider of care and support with ambitious plans to become a major player in the senior living with care sector.

Alongside our growth plans we’ve embarked on a major transformation program to modernise the way we work, with an increased focus on customer service. We are therefore investing £20 million in latest business systems technology, improved processes and developing our people, this to enhance quality and service choices across all that we do.

Whilst we embark on this exciting transformation journey we must also ensure that our day to day operational services and activities are delivered to excellent standards.  We see IT as a key enabler in how we go about our day to day business, how we interact with our customers, creating an environment where staff and customers are enabled to make the right choices both now and in the future.  This is a vital role which lies at the very heart of what we do.

To help make this happen we are looking to strengthen our team by on-boarding a dynamic and inspiring IT Operations Director with a focus and determination to deliver top quartile systems and services which our stakeholders deserve.

We want do-ers, proactive responsibility takers who make it easy for others to take action.  We want professional people, people who aspire to be part of a brilliantly run social business and who are not afraid to take tough decisions and who are always keen to do what needs to be done.

We want ambitious people, those who see no limits to what we can achieve as a group and as individuals.  And we want people who are open to dealing with the real issues, who seek new ways of solving problems, are open to other points of view and are keen to apply the latest best practice.

And finally, we are looking for people who can embrace our passion and purpose to house and care for those who need a helping hand with life’s challenges.

The headlines make it clear – thousands of people are desperate for better homes and care.
