As part of the Housing Services department, the Neighbourhood Services Officer will be carrying out and monitoring regular estate inspections, tenancy audits and ensuring accurate records are maintained and actions are taken to deal with issues. You will therefore need to be highly organised and have high attention to detail to carry out your day to day duties.
You will be part of an exciting and talented team maintaining a high profile on our estates therefore you will need to have commitment, energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to ensure individual tenants receive excellent housing and tenancy management services.
Candidates must have the ability to develop effective relationships with empathy and with a flexible approach to work. You will be organising a busy workload, maintaining high standards and reacting quickly to problems with workable solutions is essential. Ideally you will have prior experience of working in a customer facing role as well as experience managing antisocial behavior issues.
There will be a need to drive as part of this role to manage a patch of properties so you must have a driving licence and have access to a car in order to carry out the duties of your job.

1. Please can you tell us about what training and/or experience you have, that you feel prepares you for the role of Neighbourhood Officer? Please provide detailed examples and explain how your examples are relevant to the role.
2. Please can you describe a time when a customer presented you with a problem that they had. Can you describe what action you took to resolve this problem for them? Please give a detailed response?
