The council has a housing stock of 5,400 homes and ambitious plans to develop new council homes over the coming years to meet the needs of the communities of Powys. We have just achieved the Welsh Housing Quality Standard and we have ambitious plans to improve our homes and neighbourhoods further.
We’re looking for an exceptional candidate to lead the delivery of asset management services to the council’s housing stock. You will have significant experience of developing asset strategies, building asset management data, and delivering planned maintenance and estate improvement programmes. Good partnership and contract management skills, and experience overseeing partnering or joint venture arrangements for response maintenance and compliance works. Excellent leadership and ICT skills. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Housing Services Management Team, helping to shape the delivery of housing services in the county.
