Are you an active, visible and engaging leader? As comfortable with creating and communicating the big picture as in understanding the detail? Keen to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives with the skills, experience and confidence to make that happen?

At Origin we are driven by our core social purpose and strive to put our customers at the heart of what we do. We are a well-established, successful, diverse and ambitious charitable business - with significant assets, a strong commitment to local communities and a wide range of stakeholders and partnerships – providing safe, decent, affordable homes and good quality landlord and support services.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us as Director of Operations. You will lead our largest team, providing a wide range of services and looking after resident’s homes across North London and Hertfordshire, and work as part of the Executive team and with the Board to develop and implement key corporate strategies and plans.

This is an exciting time to join Origin - with business transformation our top priority, we are working to create a brilliant customer experience, greater efficiency and enhanced capacity to expand our services and build over 1,000 new homes by 2021/22. This role will be critical to our success.

Experience in the affordable housing field and knowledge of the current operating environment for social housing providers is an essential requirement for this role, together with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
