MSV’s Asset Management team provides responsive reactive repairs, voids works, planned and capital investment works and compliance services. We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Charge Business Partner to join the team.

Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the purpose of this role is to lead on the Group’s service charge provisions in all areas including Leaseholders, Shared Ownership, Market Rent, Affordable Rent and Social Rent properties.  You will undertake full reviews of service charge policy and procedure management, accounting and reporting to ensure our processes are fit for purpose, driving excellent customer service for our tenures and customers.

Working with all business areas across MSV, you will oversee the management and delivery of service charge contracts, advise the Development team of service charge implications and calculate service charges for planning of new and existing projects.  You will also liaise with internal and external customers including Section 20 and other consultation.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of providing services to Homeowners/Leaseholders/Shared Owners, with experience of working in a Social Housing environment.  You will have experience of cross team and partnership working, having also worked in multi-disciplined, regional team environment. You will also have extensive knowledge and experience of Service Charge and Rent setting and management.

With practical knowledge of leaseholder management, you will have excellent interpersonal and team working skills, with a proven ability to form partnerships and motivate and drive individuals.  You will have high levels of IT literacy with the ability to analyse complex data to produce reports and deliver information to different audiences. You will be able to plan, prioritise and organise your work effectively to meet changing needs. With effective communication skills, you will also have excellent customer focus that considers the diverse needs of customers. Possession of a relevant qualification (CIH or equivalent) qualified by experience in a similar role is essential for success in this role. The successful applicant will also need a full current driving license.
