Ever thought about working in the housing sector? Clarion Housing is looking for an adaptable Senior Finance Officer to join our ambitious organisation on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.

About the role

As a key member of the Financial Service team, you'll share responsibility for meeting month end timetables following reviews of costs and control accounts, providing support to other parts of the business and making postings to achieve this.

You will also be working closely with other teams to provide support for processes such as costs capitalisation and major works accruals.

After a brief acclimatisation with the group's systems, you will be quickly be required to take ownership of the processes and tasks to hand, drawing upon your experience and background to achieve this as smoothly as possible.

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • CCAB or CIMA Qualified/ part qualified.
  • Experience in an accounting/finance department with balance sheet reconciliations and control account ownership.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with experience of working to fixed month end timetables.
  • Excellent IT skills specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Financial databases.
