We are a proactive community-based housing association with over 1500 homes across Croydon, Bromley, Sutton and Merton. We have an ambitious acquisitions and development programme which will increase the number of homes we own to more than 1800 homes by 2020. To help us achieve our aim we have just established a new development company.
We have a committed team of over 40 staff who deliver a high quality service to our residents and we are developing more homes within the community. We realise that housing is just one part of the puzzle and that in order to truly transform lives, we need to look beyond bricks and mortar. For this reason, we provide a wide range of services to our residents, including specialist money and welfare advice, digital inclusion and employment programmes.
We are looking for an experienced Chair to lead us as we start to develop and deliver our new business plan. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with the ability to facilitate effective Board debate. Our new business plan will be looking at ways to empower residents and hear their voice, so we are seeking an individual with experience of stakeholder engagement and service performance management. The new Chair will also need financial and asset management acumen and an understanding of good governance for housing associations. The role also requires someone who is able to be an effective ambassador for CCHA.
Our Board comprises 10 members, including the Chief Executive, who are highly skilled and dedicated individuals committed to helping to solve the housing crisis in our area. We are looking for someone to lead the Board who will share their dedication, commit to our values and be able to make a real contribution to CCHA.
For an informal discussion please contact Sue Manning, Forest HR on 01425 657708, or sue@foresthr.co.uk
