The UK has a housing problem. This affects every one of us, because housing is the foundation of the society we live in. Catalyst is part of the solution. You could be too. We’re looking for Customer Contact Advisors with energy and a strong sense of purpose.

Catalyst is one of the UK’s leading housing associations. We’re here to make a purposeful difference, providing housing solutions and opportunities for those who can’t afford a home without our help. We offer a wide range of homes, for rent, part ownership or purchase. And by doing so, we build more than homes – we build communities.

We also work hard to be a great employer, to deliver outstanding customer service and to be a high-performance business. We are absolutely committed to our social purpose, in every part of our organisation. And we always seek to do better.

You will deliver exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers through a range of channels and will seek to understand fully your customers’ needs, identifying and working to remove pain points, and always doing what you say you will. We will develop your knowledge of the housing sector to provide expertise across the entire range of core services including maintenance, allocations, service charges, environmental service and income. As part of the role you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to strive for 1st contact resolution to queries and will thoroughly investigate customer’s accounts to prevent possible call backs.

You are passionate about delivering excellent customer experience every time, by being easy, reliable and empathetic in the way you deal with customers and colleagues. You will ideally have customer service experience and be able to demonstrate an exemplary telephone manner, accurate note taking and the ability to tune into the customers’ needs. This is a fast paced, target driven environment and it is essential that the post holder is able to show highly developed questioning and listening skills and an ability to communicate with both empathy and clarity.

We’re a Sunday Times top 100 Best Company to Work for. We invest a lot of time and resources in our people because we know it’s our people who will drive our success. If you’d like to join us, and help make a real difference, please get in touch.

The role is subject to a basic check.

Please note completed pre-employment forms must be included in order for your application to be processed.

Closing date: 31st January 2019. Assessment date: 7th February 2019.
