We're looking for an exceptional Legal Support Officer to join our Legal Services team based in London.

About the role

As a Legal Support Officer you'll form an integral part of the Legal team by providing general support on legal cases. More specifically you'll support Lawyers and Paralegals within the Litigation / Property and Contracts team in providing legal advice and representation on transactional work. As well as undertaking routine legal work you'll also coordinate admin support for the legal team alongside the Business Support team which will include raising invoices, budget monitoring and running reports. You will also act as a system administrator for the legal case management system by setting up and closing cases, inputting data and running reports. This is a busy, varied role where you'll be expected to provide general assistance where required.

About you

We are looking for a highly organised candidate with experience working within a legal services department or firm with knowledge of routine legal processes. Ideally you'll be a legal secretary/ paralegal or be a sound administrator with a legal qualification. You will be flexible in your approach, have an excellent attention to detail along with strong IT / MS Office skills. Experience of working within a housing environment would be preferred although not essential.
