Community Engagement Manager

bpha is a dynamic and ambitious 18,000 unit Housing Association based in Bedford and operating throughout the Oxford to Cambridge growth corridor. The organisation employs 400 people, has an annual turnover in excess of £120m and a development programme that will see it build around 3,000 new homes over the next five years making it one of the top 25 of developing associations.
We need your support to promote our customers’ involvement in the design and delivery of community services. With our customers at the heart of everything we do, you will be able to make their feedback count with service improvements that are important to them.
The internal aspect to this role will give you responsibility for effective relationship management and communication with both key stakeholders across bpha and outside bodies to promote a positive influence.
To be successful in this role you will need to have had previous experience in a similar community engagement role and will be confident working in partnership with a range of stakeholders. Ideally you will have worked in social / affordable housing and quite importantly, you will have previously line managed and supervised staff.
