We are recruiting for a Lead Project Worker to join our Care and Support Temporary Housing Team working across Ipswich, Maldon and Clacton.

This is an exciting time to join Notting Hill Genesis as we are recruiting to several jobs in the Suffolk area. Although based in Ipswich you will be required to manage properties in Maldon and Clacton as well. You will be responsible for delivering person-centred services whilst visiting customers in those properties.

The properties that you will be visiting offer support to individuals with a mixture of low level support needs. The primary focus for this role is to ensure you are conducting monthly visits looking at what support is needed for our customers and checking the property/completing inspections. You will also be responsible for updating information on the person support notes.

There is flexibility to work from home on occasion with this role as you will be required to monitor customer rent accounts, check benefits, Housing Benefits / Universal Credit and general admin tasks but your main office will be based at one of the supported accommodation schemes in Ipswich.

About you
A support background is preferred for the position as you will need to have some knowledge of benefits and working with vulnerable individuals. You must have strong communication skills and customer service as well as good IT skills.
