An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic housing regeneration practitioner within the Strategic Housing Division.

The Strategic Housing Division is a delivery-focussed multi-disciplinary service, managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of housing projects. The successful candidate will focus on the development and delivery of Infinity Garden Village and the South Derby Growth Zone, two of the most important strategic development projects for Derby city, South Derbyshire and the County.

You will be working closely with the Principal Regeneration Manager, public and private sector partners, including both housing developers and commercial developers. One of the key aspects of the role is to help accelerate housing delivery within Derby city and the wider Derby Housing Market Area (HMA).

Requirement

We are looking for individuals with substantial experience of working in housing, property development, economic development or regeneration, including project and budget management and partnership Working.

Educated to degree level, a successful track record in delivering complex projects is essential. You must be a competent Project Manager with good organisational, interpersonal and budget management skills. Confidence in negotiation and a high level of communication skills are essential. You must have the ability to solve or pre-empt problems involving a range of stakeholders

Experience of dealing with external funding and developing robust bids is desirable.
