Whilst we take a commercial approach to housebuilding, all of the surpluses the Group generates are reinvested into supporting our social purpose, helping to deliver more homes and services for customers.

The group has been successful to date in embedding effective change throughout the business to enable it to meet regulatory, legislative and many best practice requirements to deliver safeguarding. We are now looking for someone to help us to maintain and improve the culture we have developed.

The role

Are you a safeguarding professional with demonstrable technical knowledge, expertise and experience in safeguarding?

If so, we would love to hear from you.

This is a specialist role with an organisational wide responsibility for implementing our Safeguarding strategy. You will be responsible for continuing to support all staff to deliver effective safeguarding and achieving good outcomes in preventing and effectively responding to reports of harm, neglect and abuse. You will ensure that safeguarding remains a strategic objective and you will collate reporting and provide assurance to the leadership team and board.

As our Safeguarding Manager you will manage the implementation of our Safeguarding Strategy and look to establish safeguarding as a key driver within our organisation. You will work towards identifying areas of policy, practice and systems development that require improvement, and to work with the relevant directorates. You will have the ability to think strategically and think about our risks.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills willing and able to collaborate both with our internal and external partners.
