We are bpha, a dynamic and ambitious Housing Association based in Bedford with properties throughout the Oxford to Cambridge growth arc. We employ around 400 people, have a healthy turnover in excess of £120m and a development programme that will see us build around 3,000 new homes over the next five years making it one of the top 25 of developing associations, pushing us up to 21,000 units.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced construction professional who has a wealth of experience in residential maintenance and refurbishment to join us as an Asset Project Manager. 

This key role will focus on our major construction projects that form part of our annual planned, cyclical and responsive maintenance work.

Managing a range of projects, you will engage with internal stakeholders and manage external supply chain partners to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with our operational plans, contract requirements and statutory obligations including CDM. 

You will be a success in this role if you:

  • Have construction experience – ideally residential maintenance and refurbishment
  • Possess a working knowledge of CDM and Health & Safety Regulations
  • Are a natural leader
  • Skilfully create solutions to existing and foreseeable issues
  • Develop purposeful relationships with customers and colleagues alike
  • Thrive working in a busy team of like minded individuals
