Adult Carers Coordinator
18.5 hours per week
Actual salary - £9,860 per annum (rising to £10,106 after one year)
About the Role:
Alliance Homes Group mission is simple, ‘Improving Lives, Benefitting Communities’. In the role of Adult Carers Coordinator, you will be right at the forefront of our mission statement, raising awareness of carer’s needs through events, presentations and sharing information.
Undertaking Carers assessments and providing sound advice, you will enable carers to continue in their caring role by making them feel valued and continuously supported.
With a thorough understanding of the impact a caring role can have on a carer, you will have experience of supporting adults in an outcome focused environment.
With assessments to record and update, you will have good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office alongside strong verbal and written communication skills. Dealing with our carers face-to-face, at workshops and events, your interpersonal skills will also need to be excellent.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
