We have a fantastic opening for a Project Worker to join our team providing support to our customers with learning disabilities in Briar Patch, Letchworth.

The primary focus of our services is to support customers in a range of areas, including improving independent life skills, finding employment, and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to suitable long-term accommodation appropriate to their needs.

Notting Hill Genesis is a prominent housing related support provider to customers with learning disabilities and mental health issues in Hertfordshire. We have recently undergone an ambitious change programme in our services provided across the county. The aim of the new services is to ensure our customers achieve their own goals and aspirations through the support and encouragement of our staff.

Based in Letchworth, our Project Workers are responsible for delivering excellent, outcome focused support to customers who have learning disabilities. They are also responsible for delivering an excellent housing management service. Other responsibilities will include assisting customers with minimal personal care, prompting medication, supporting residents out in the community and prompting with domestic duties around their home.

Although previous supported housing experience would be suitable for this role, we are also looking for inspirational individuals who will seize the potential of making a difference in people's lives. We want to find motivational and enthusiastic individual's that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills as well as being IT literate and someone who is a creative thinker that can think outside the box and come up with new ideas. Being a driver would also be preferred as you may need to cover support in the community.
