Sheltered Housing Officer
This is a great opportunity to manage the day to day running of the Association’s high quality Sheltered Housing schemes, overseeing the maintenance, security, health and fire safety of the buildings. To provide a range of housing support services that enables residents to remain living independently in their homes. To promote health and wellbeing and linking with local services to prevent social isolation.
The ideal candidate should have experience of providing housing management and related support to older people. Experience of managing H & S and Fire Safety within a supported housing environment, carrying out risk and needs assessment and creating person centred support plans. You will be required to deliver excellent customer service whilst working in a multidisciplinary team. Experience of handling emergencies and managing conflicts is also required.
You should have knowledge of H & S. The ability to work within a team and on own initiative and to effectively prioritise and organise a varied workload. To be an effective communicator and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
You should have a clean UK driving licence with access to a car for business use. You should be flexible in hours worked as occasionally you will be required to work out of hours.
The successful applicant will require a Standard DBS disclosure.
