We are recruiting for a Part Time Lead Project Worker to join one of our supported accommodation schemes located in Hunstanton.

This is an exciting time to join Notting Hill Genesis as we are recruiting to several jobs in the Norfolk area. Located in our Park Road scheme in Hunstanton, the Lead Project Worker will be responsible for delivering person-centred services. You will line manage a small team, supervising and supporting them to deliver a high quality service.

The scheme is an accommodation based service that supports single homeless people who may have experienced drug, alcohol, substance misuse problems, and/or have varying support needs. The primary focus of our schemes is to support customers in a range of areas including finding employment, recovery from addiction and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs.
We are looking for an inspirational and driven individual who will seize the potential of making a difference in people's lives. We want to find motivational individual's that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service.

About you

You will have managerial responsibilities so line management experience is essential, this will consist of a number of duties including overseeing and assisting the Night Services; this includes working at least two late shifts per month and working one weekend every three weeks. A level of flexibility is required due to the nature of these services.

Although a support background is not essential for the position it would be preferable to have some knowledge of homelessness. You must have strong communication skills and customer service as well as good IT skills.
