About the Role

This role is aligned to the Integration and Rules capability within Information Systems and has particular focus on SQL database administration as well as the administration of the various application, rules/integration platforms and databases within the enterprise and legacy application estate.

The post holder will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of databases, integration and rules applications, and BizTalk within Clarion estate. The role includes the development and design of databases, system monitoring and improving database performance and capacity, as well as planning for future expansion requirements.

About You

Previous, solid experience of database administration in Microsoft SQL Server environment (at least 2008) and relevant SQL Server certification is essential for this role. We are also looking for someone to have excellent analytical, data interpretation, problem solving, stakeholder engagement, numeracy & communication skills. Exposure to SSRS along with experience of building and troubleshooting SSIS packages are also a must.
