Enfield is an ambitious council that is serious about “good growth” and unwavering in our commitment to putting our residents first.

Forming part of the second largest employment corridor in London, residents enjoy excellent transport links, good schools, low crime and green spaces. Maximising these growth prospects, we are tackling the demand for quality family homes in the borough. With significant development and regeneration programmes underway, we are committed to providing sustainable mixed tenure across Enfield and to creating better places for our residents.

As our new Head of Development, you will take responsibility for developing and delivering our programme of new housing supply at pace. You will lead our relationship with the Greater London Authority on all housing, regeneration and care schemes, as well as developing relationships with providers to maximise our housing supply. This is a strategic role and you will lead the creation of the Development Strategy, contribute with internal partners to the Asset Management Strategy and build capacity within your team. Delivery is also key in this role and you will develop the pipeline and track progress against our housing supply targets. You will drive programmes forward, whilst ensuring effective governance and engagement processes are in place.

To be successful you will have leadership experience in housing development and a track record of programme delivery. With a good understanding of housing and built environment, will provide inspiring leadership to your teams and demonstrate a passion to deliver for our residents.
