Salary: £21,150 - £23,500 per annum

12 months Maternity Cover, 36.25 hours per week

Orbit are one of the UK's leading Housing Providers and are looking for a Lettings Officer to join our Lettings team based in the East.

The role of the Lettings Officer is to provide an effective and efficient Lettings and Voids management service to all customers. Reporting into the Regional Lettings Manager, you will carry out viewings and inspections for mixed tenure properties, ensuring set target are met and following relevant policies and procedures. Your role will see you manage the end to end process for mutual exchanges, from application to the signing of deed or new tenancy. Although the majority of your role will be field based, you'll be expected to complete all necessary paperwork and administration tasks one day a week.

We are looking for a charismatic, motivated and hard working individual that can successfully meet and exceed set targets. Previous housing or lettings experience is required for this role, with a proven track record of strong customer service skills. To be a good fit to this role you will have an interest in social housing and the ability to build customer relationships successfully. You must be computer literate, with Basic Word and Excel skills.

Please be aware this role does involve travelling to multiple locations to carry out viewings. Therefore you will be required to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Please be aware this role is a 12 months fixed term contract, covering maternity.
