Since our recent merger we are reviewing structures to support the delivery of our vision and are now looking to appoint a Director of Community Investment.

This role will work with the Executive Director of Customer Services to create an ambitious and exciting Customer Investment strategy which will form a key part of the MTVH Corporate strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Customer Services Senior Leadership Team working collaboratively with other Directors and colleagues within and outside of the Directorate to ensure a sustainable, dynamic and successful organization.

You will be accountable for creating and delivering the Community Investment strategy, gaining agreement and buy in from internal and external stakeholders and working collaboratively with a range of local, regional and national partners to promote the work of MTVH. You will work to maximise the positive outcomes from our existing services and seek new funding and opportunities to deliver services which support the needs of our customers and communities across London, Thames Valley, East Anglia and the Midlands.

About You:

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and / or have experience relevant to the role. You may have a relevant professional qualification / membership of sector or trade bodies

You will have experience of working at a senior level influencing policy and understanding the operating context within the social housing, employment skills or community sectors. A sound knowledge of the policy and socio-economic issues affecting social housing customers and the neighbourhoods where they live is highly desirable.

The ability to travel nationally and to meet external commitments is essential.

You may have experience of the following: Community Investment, Social Investment, Community Development, Property Management, Housing Association, Social Housing etc.
