We are looking to appoint an Affordable Homes Officer (AHO) to join our Housing Advisory Service.

The AHO will enjoy a versatile role covering home ownership, social rented and private rented projects. Working with a range of partner agencies, the post holder will have the opportunity to play a key role in developing the supply of affordable housing in the area.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on affordable housing projects in a local authority or housing association setting. They will be able to apply their extensive knowledge of housing, development and planning issues to provide a high standard of written and verbal advice to colleagues in the Councils Planning and Legal departments and to members of the public.
