Onward Homes is one of the largest registered provider of social housing, based solely in the North West of England.

In April 2017, we brought the Group together under the Onward brand to signal our intention to increase our impact and to make a greater contribution to the communities and customers we serve.  We are delivering a major transformation change programme, in the way in which we deliver services and how we are structured as a business.

As part of a continued focus on developing and modernising our customer services and wider operational team, we are looking for a number of experienced Customer Services Specialists, to join our team in Accrington. 

Working as part of a great team, your focus will be on help and advice to new and existing customers.  You will be handling inbound telephone calls, e-mails and social media requests from existing customers and also people who are looking for a home with us. Your role will be to help people with a wide variety of enquiries associated with their tenancy from raising and appointing repairs, managing their payments or helping customers to apply for a new home. 

We are looking for people who have experience of working in a customer service, contact centre based environment, who can manage multi channel contacts efficiently using a wide range of ICT packages.  You must be able to manage a varied workload whilst achieving priorities and objectives.  Excellent communication and listening skills are essential in order to deliver a high quality service.

We have a number of part time opportunities which will cover Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm and shift patterns will be discussed during the interview stage.
