Job Details

We’re changing the way we work, creating an exciting opportunity for dynamic team members to assist with the delivery of our ambitious development targets.

Radian has launched its new corporate strategy outlining ambitions to deliver more homes in the future, and is looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant Land Manager to join the team to help us deliver this.

Whilst in the midst of a housing crisis Radian is passionate about doing everything it can to build more homes of all tenures across our geography, and this role will be crucial to our success in doing just that.

You will be tasked with assisting members of the team with the acquisition of sites with and without planning permission. You will work closely with sales, housing and our delivery teams to ensure projects are in line with our corporate objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Land and Planning, you will have an important role in the delivery of our targets. The ability to build and sustain highly effective working relationships with partners including local authorities, enterprise partnerships, regional government, house-builders, landowners, co-investors and funders will be essential to success.

We are looking for someone with a broad range of skills, including the ability to be decisive, persuasive and to use their own initiative when needed. A commercial awareness is essential.

The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the wider team, therefore excellent communication skills are a must, along with the ability to manage a variety of projects in a fast moving environment. In return, you will work with an experienced team of professionals that will be on hand to support your personal and professional development.

Why Radian?

At Radian we are committed to investing in local communities to make them stronger whilst helping to provide homes to those that really need them. We also recognise the importance of continuing to develop our products and services to meet the changing needs of our customers, and have recently launched an ambitious five year Corporate Strategy that will help us continue building on our successes and to achieve our full potential as a leading provider of affordable homes across the south.

We are looking to recruit people who share our passion in making a difference to the lives of our customers and our local communities. In return we will invest in you to help develop your career in a great environment that offers flexibility, collaboration and excellent rewards and benefits.
