The Role
At Metropolitan Thames Valley we have been very busy and successful in securing the opportunity to provide services to YOUR local community and we are on the hunt for some fresh talent to join our team and be instrumental in our success.

We are looking for an experienced Adaptations Surveyor to join and lead our team in Leyton. You will provide advice to the HIA`s clients with regard to proposed adaptations, prepare specifications and technical drawings for adaptation works and arrange estimates for work from the HIA`s contractors.

You will manage adaptation works, monitoring work on site and carrying out post completion inspections to ensure works are completed to a high standard and meet the needs of the HIA`s clients, while also providing detailed technical advice and support to the HIA`s occupational therapists and other HIA staff regarding the feasibility of proposed works.

This is an opportunity to become a part of a well-respected service delivering efficient home improvements to customers with Physical Disabilities commissioned by the Local Authority. You will work closely with a small team, and need to demonstrate the ability to support colleagues as team work is essential. About you
You will need to be able to self-manage your work load and be happy lone working on site with customers and managing contractors throughout any works undertaken.  This means previous experience as an adaptations surveyor is essential as well as team management.

Working directly with customers and third parties you will understand the importance of excellent customer service and be a strong communicator to be able to present recommendations successfully.

- Experience of adaptations
- Experience in use of AutoCAD
- NVQ level 3 Diploma in Building Maintenance / Construction Contracting Operations (Surveying) or equivalent
